Pricing

Our aim is to bring transparency in the pricing and payment options for our clients so that we don't have to spend a lot of time bargaining or calculating prices or taxes.

GST on Pricing

All tour prices mentioned on the website are inclusive of 5% GST.
Some tours also include free transfers to the itinerary places, street food tasting, breakfast or dinner. Please check the Inclusions section in the tours' detail pages for more information.

GST is not applicable to our hostel accommodation pricing.

Payment Modes

We are vehement promoters of digital payment methods using wallets, UPI and similar cashless processes which enables us to provide a hassle-free transaction experience to Indian and foreign travelers alike. Since it can become difficult to get cash from ATMs in India and currency exchanges can be limited, we strongly recommend using the digital payment methods wherever possible so that you may use cash only for emergency purposes

Card Payment

Online Invoicing

We use the PayPal Invoicing service which allows us to accept payments via a large number of credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club, and EnRoute. Guests' can also choose to pay using their PayPal account it is not mandatory to have a PayPal account to complete the payment.

The payment links generated via PayPal Invoicing are highly secure and is used by millions of people from all over the world.

Onsite Card Machine

Our onsite terminals (from Mosambee and Verifone) are provided by HDFC Bank and support a wide range of cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diner's Club.

PayPal

We use PayPal invoicing system which allows us to accept payments via customer's PayPal account and via a large number of credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club, and EnRoute.

Onsite Payments

These payment methods are available to hostel guests and in rare cases, also available to guests whose tours initiate from the hostel.
Please note that for better service, it is strongly advised to make the payment beforehand as last-minute onsite payments can lead to delays and confusion in the reservations.

Indian and International Cards

Our onsite terminals provided by HDFC Bank and powered by Mosambee and Verifone support a wide range of cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diner's Club.

Cash

This is the last resort of payment mode accepted in very rare cases.

We stopped taking cash after a few weeks into our business as we had cases when we prepared everything and guests didn't show up! It decreased the morale of our team and we still had to pay our vendors like the scheduled cab drivers. So we took a decision to bring more reliability in our system by introducing PayPal invoicing and other digital payment methods which led to the reduction in cancelations of our tours or hostel reservations to nearly 1% of the invoices.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that in all cases of cancellation, fees taxes and other charges levied by banks, payment platforms or terminals shall be paid by the customer.
The refunds shall be initiated within 2 weeks after a formal cancellation request.

Tours

Customer will be entitled to a 100% refund of tour fare if the cancellation of the tour is attributable to either City On Pedals or poor weather conditions.
For any other reasons, customers will be entitled to refund for cancellation of the tour as per the following policy:

A 50% refund will be made for cancellations received 3 days before the date of the activity. No refund thereafter.
No refund shall be applicable in case of a No-Show.

Hostel

Full Charge - Full Stay - If canceled within 2 days of arrival
Partial Charge - 100% of Deposit - If canceled within 7 days of arrival
No Charge - If canceled within 14 days of arrival
